My Thoughts: Contains spoilage If you love superpowered!Harry fics, you will love this. If you don't you might not like it as much but I believe you will still enjoy it. I like that this author makes Harry very powerful but then makes larger obsticles to match. And not all of them on a power scale. In fact mostly not. Even though the enemy, not voldemort he's dead before we begin, is elusive and powerful. I'm talking about the temptation to do dark things for 'good' reasons. Or trusting/forgiving someone whose hurt you. Loving someone who hurt you. Finding comfort and family in unlikely places. Finding out how to give up authority. All these things Harry must learn. I do object to the 'mild HP/SS' in the summary. When you put mild slash in a summary it is assumed that the relationship is a minor plot point. In this case the relationship is very important to the plot and is a large part of the story. What the author was probably trying to convey was that this is not an explicit story. The most the reader 'sees' is a heated make out session, or Harry's (non-explicit) musings on the wild time they had last night. This is actually the way I prefer my slash, not that I object to reading sex, but as much as I read if every story I read had a sex-scene per chapter I would never get a break from it. Anyway. So great story, I recommend it highly.

My Thoughts: A good story overall. Especially if your a fan of Gray!Harry. I could wish for more personal Harry/Remus action, not smut, just...personal. I think this is a fault with the whole story. Interactions on a personal level are mentioned but not explored for the reader. If you enjoy Super!Harry fics or like to explore different branches of magic you will love this fic.

My Thoughts: This was priceless! I adored this fic! Harry's personality was so... unique, even for slytherin style or even snarky style. He was so Mercenary! From the tactics, the love of money and women, it was perfect. I loved the 'power he knows not.'A truly entertaining story.

My Thoughts: One of the all time best fics I've ever read. Seriously. The plot is meticulous and entertaining. The romance is slow but even paced and again entertaining. The magical creatures have advantages, disadvantages, rules, culture, and individuality. Characters, new and old, have background and depth. "Good" characters have reasons beyond 'goodness' for the things they do. There are 'good' people who don't agree with the heros! There are characters who do bad things for, in their eyes, justifiable reasons. Not a lot of focus was given to truly evil characters, but I don't see this a bad thing in this story. It also is one of my best loved themes, that of the Courting fic, where Harry is courted but a variety of people who have to follow rules and .... OK in real life, this would suck. But in fic it just gets my romantic heart beating. The fic also addresses some of the plot holes of HP canon. Or not so much holes as unrealistic events, like the MOM. And my favorite secret love.... Alternative philosophies to either "Kill all the Mudbloods," or "Love all the Muggles, the poor dears" If there was anything I was disappointed in it was Luna. She was fantastic and just right for this story but... she wasn't really how I picture Luna. No that's not right... I miss the little girl that wanted friends so bad but wasn't going to be someone she's not to get them. Although Harry and Co respect her I don't think that in this fic should would be considered a 'friend' like she was in the 5th book. Overall though this is a beautifully crafted masterpiece and I look forward to reading more even if it is in one of my less liked parings Harry/Draco.
